April showers brought May… showers this season in New York City. And that’s ok! Aside from messing with our weekend markets 😐 I actually really love this weather, and think the plants do too. That wall of sticky NYC humidity can wait as long as it wants. We took advantage of this cool overcast day in May to shoot some looks in the park, by the lake.
Here’s majestic Amina (recent Parsons grad, woot woot!) in the first getup – a bit equestrian, a touch Shakespearean and a hint of Audrey. High waist dark denim with snap petal cuffs, paired with a 1960s lace trimmed ruffle blouse in the softest, thinnest white cotton, plus minimal white leather slides, a dainty horseshoe necklace and an ultra cool vintage graphic umbrella. Shouldn’t all umbrellas be more fun to look at?!
Full flounce ahead.
Ruffles + Wind = a lot of this (thank you Sarah!😘)
